Step back to the Ancient Times. A driver will pick-you up at your place and drive you back to one thousands years before Jesus Christ was born. Your private English speaking guide will wait for you at the Flavian Amphitheater renowned all over the World as the Coliseum and will guide you through legends and battles that took place in this magnificent masterpiece.
More than the description of the games of the gladiators you will be explained why the Coliseum is one of the seven wonders of the World, masterpiece of technology and engineering and landmark of the Eternal City.
After the visit of the Coliseum you will visit to the Roman Forum, the place where Western civilization was born. To reach the Forum you will walk on an original Roman road, the Via Sacra. “All the roads lead to Rome”.
You will enjoy triumphal arches, pagan basilicas, temples, aqueducts, and the Palatine Hill, one of the seven historical Hills, the one where archeologists say Rome was founded by Romolus and Remo April the 21st of the year 753 B.C. Right in the middle of the Forum you will visit the place where Giulio Cesare was cremated after he was killed by the Republicans.
Then you walk out from the Roman Forum, your guide will lead you to the Trajan market and then to the geographical heart of Rome: Venice Square where the view of the biggest monument in the World, the Vittoriano will overwhelm you. The private tour will end on top of the Capitoline Hill (another one of the seven historical hills) where you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the Roman Forum and some Michelangelo work of art as an architect.
