Your driver and your guide will pick you up at the hotel at 8:30am to drive you to the Vatican Museums, where thanks to VIP tickets you will enter the Museums regardles of the line. The guide will take you to the “Pavilion of the Carriages” to show you the “Papa Mobile” and many other cars used by the Pontiffs through the last Century. Comfortable sitting in a very cozy coffe bar you will listen to the stories realted to the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo great masterpiece as a painter. To reach the Chapel you will walk some of the galleries of the Vatican Museums where you will be sorrounded by hundreds of work of art. After all this splendour and magnificence you will be taken in St. Peter Basilica to enjoy the “Pietà” the World renown “masterpiece of all the masterpieces” and the baroque canopy that Gianlorenzo Bernini built using the bronze that plated the dome of the Pantheon.
You will leave the Vatican City to go for lunch, your guide will suggest you the best place according to your taste (pasta, pizza, meat, salad …..)
After lunch you wil enter the Colosseum, where the guide will amaze you with the history and the technolgies of what is still today one of the wonders of the World.
After the Colosseum you will enter the Roman Forum, the place where Western civilization was born, to enjoy the ruins of the old temples.
From the Forum you will walk to Venice Square where is the Vittoriano, what is considerd to be the biggest monument in the World.
Instead of the Roman Forum you can ask the guide to take you to the Pantheon and Navona Square, in order to admire the best preserved Roman Temple, where Raphael (the great painter ) is buried and the most beautiful fountain of Rome: the fountain of the four rivers by Gianlorenzo Bernini.
After having sipped the best Roman coffe in a truly Itaian coffe bar you will be driven back to your hotel.
