The rural and unspoilt countryside landscapes made Tuscany famous in the World and still today make it an unique area.
The hills near Florence are famous for growing grapes and producing great wines, with its clay soils and the typical rows of cypress trees, the Maremma with its Mediterranean and the Etruscan history. Hills and slopes, cultivated fields, vineyards, olive groves, castles, medieval villages: landscapes and charming sites are the symbols of this land. We began a journey that will take you back in time, immerse you in a past full of stories, passed down curiosities, memories kept alive thanks to the love of the people.
This excursion will give you the opportunity to enjoy colors, flavors and tastes of the Tuscan countryside and eat typical products of the food and wine tradition.
We begin this exciting culinary experience going to Pienza, driving among the vine and olive trees that characterize this picturesque landscape. Here we will visit a typical Tuscan cheese factory.
Thanks to their experience, the owners and founders of this dairy, will reveal you their personal approach to their daily work and will introduce you to their way of life: just on a vision that respects the ecosystem and the Tuscan tradition, as well as the sustainability of the actions carried out at the farm.
Then you will learn how to cook a typical Tuscan dish, with an exciting cooking class experience.
After lunch we will move to Montepulciano: a village rich in history and art, inside an agricultural landscape and famous for one of the best wines in the world, that keeps the same name: the Montepulciano.
Here you will visit a precious wine cellar and a historical mill. We will start with a brief lesson and you will get the basis of being a sommelier and an olive oil taster. After this you will be shown the secret of the millennial work of Italian wine and olive oil. Still in Montepulciano you will visit the cellar of Vino Nobile and olive oil.
